In the land of luxurious jewels
I hear diamonds are a girl’s best friend
The feeling of extravagance as they lay upon her skin
Dancing in the light
Unaware of passers-by
She’s the belle of the ball
Crystals, diamonds and white gold
All familiar in her wardrobe
Sparing no expense, she buys it all.
Personally, when it comes to luxury pieces, I’m generally in two minds. Mainly due to the possibility of losing or damaging my latest purchase. Then the rational side of me considers all the other things I could potentially buy for much less. But the other side replies, treat yourself, resulting in exceptions for special occasions as I can justify it to myself.
I would like to thank Abelini Jewellery* for extending an invitation to join their latest campaign. I happily accepted as it was based on finding your perfect Abelini piece. Sparking a celebration of individuality, personal style and uniqueness. These three elements got me excited that I headed over to their website. Scrolling through their collections, I was in awe of every design, shining confidently and calling my name. Staying true to my personal style I opted for a pair of hoop earrings. Inevitably increasing my hoop collection, which varies in style, colour and chunkiness – no two hoops are the same. I have a pair with African print that I purchased last year at Pop Up Africa in Spitalfields. A dainty gold pair with a pink gem from Nasty Gal. But I can confidently say that these are now my favourite, closely followed by a gold sleeper pair.
These hoop earrings are perfect in size, chunkiness and sparkle, they have it all. Easy to put on and so comfortable that you almost forget you’re wearing them. These particular earrings are great for any occasion, day or night, they’ll be your statement piece. I decided to take a more casual approach when it came to styling. Opting for a classic white t-shirt, colourful spring makeup and a location with plenty of flowers. I would say this is my approach to adding luxury to an everyday style.
